Investment

You can rent the L&A drone for events, photo shoots, and weddings at a rate of $200 for 30 minutes. Since aerial photos take more time to set up than traditional photos - we will talk through your needs before the drone takes flight to make sure I know what you’d like captured.

Drone photography is included with every wedding booked through Life and Art Photography, but I am happy to come to weddings not booked through me to get a few amazing drone photos!

Email me for details.

FAQs

Do you have a drone license?

Yes, there is a course and test drone pilots must take to use one.

Do you take the drone to every photo shoot?

I absolutely love epic drone photos, but not every shoot has enough time or the right location for drones. Plus there are a few rules I need to follow with my drone. Make sure you let me know you’d like drone photos when you email me, so we can plan accordingly.

Do you use the drone during wedding ceremonies?

Not usually. The drone is kind of loud and a little distracting for guests, and I want them to be focused on what really matters: you! It is definitely better for bridal portraits. But if you would like drone photos during the ceremony, let me know and we can plan on it!

Can the drone be used in all types of weather?

I wish! But the drone is not waterproof, so it can’t be flown in rain or snow.

Can I try flying the drone?

Unfortunately, I can’t let anyone else take the controls since they aren’t licensed. (And because it took a lot of test flights before I felt comfortable taking it out!)
